3-5 YEAR OLDS

TOTS CLASS The Tots Class is designed especially for the Pre- Nursery or part time Nursery child. Your child is only just beginning to find their feet without you. It can be a difficult time. These Classes give you and your child the opportunity to try something new. Classes are held in a calm and quiet atmosphere, where you as parents are encourage to be close at hand. The class lasts for 30 mins so as to keep their attention 100% as much as possible and to ease the stress of separation for you both. At the end of class the children are kept in the class room and parents are asked to come and collect the children, this is to ensure a calm end to the class.

PRE PRIMARY BALLET

Children start in the Pre Primary class at around the age of 4 1/2 yrs. This class moves towards preparing the children for class work with the older pupils, in a calm environment while still focusing on the discipline they are there to master. This class lasts 45 minutes and prepares the children for exam work which begins in the rest class. At the same time fun elements continue with dress up, Picture books and dancing with ribbons at the beginning of each session, also they prepare something to show the parents at watching week.

Usually at this point the children are about to or already have begun School and are beginning to feel more independent. This class affords them an opportunity to choices and options within the class room and also gives you the parent an opportunity to choose the Friday tap and Modern classes which can be taken on a fortnightly giving your child a chance to try out the other disciplines that are available to the older children.
